The CIMIO CADDS4X to/from Intergraph Translator provides two-waytranslation between Computervision CADDS4X design files and the EMS andIGDS formats. The CADDS to IGDS converter will convert either a CADDS3,CADDS4X, or CADDS5 part including all referenced figures into anIntergraph design file. Supports CADDS3 rev 7 and upward; CADDS4X rev 2-6, and CADDS5 rev 1-2. The CADDS4X entities which are converted include:point, line, arc, ellipse, parabola, hyperbola, spline, bspline, nurbspline, cpole, cpoint, spoint, tcylinder, rsurface, srevolution,bsurface, spole, nurb surface, shape, rectangle, crosshatch, fcs, linear,dimension, angular string, nodal line, subfigure, connect node, nodalfigure, polygon, text, and nodal text. The mapping layers, line fonts,text fonts, colors and figure names is defined in a user configurablemappling file. The capability to read CADDS FUTIL format tapes isincluded. The Intergraph to CADDS converter transfers an Intergraphdesign file to a CADDS4X part. The Intergraph elements which areconverted include: line, line string, arc, ellipse, bspline, curve,shape, conic, complex string, complex shape, text, text node, bsplinesurface, cell, reference file, saved view, patterning, and celllibraries. The mapping levels, line styles, text fonts, colors, and cellnames is defined in a user configurable mapping file.
